Derek Michell, our highly acclaimed golf professional, has over 25 years' experience in coaching and has a reputation as one of Cornwall's best coaches of beginners, county players and other county professionals.

Teaching usually takes place in our state-of-the-art academy which was designed for everyone from absolute beginner to experienced golfer.

Here our computerised and video system (one of only a couple in Cornwall) has been proven to greatly speed improvement of your game with problem areas easily analysed and illustrated - so you are guaranteed to leave with a much fuller understanding of your personal technique. Your swing can also be stored on computer for improvement monitoring and can be compared to a video library of top stars' swings to help you visualize required changes.

The academy also boasts one of the finest club-fitting systems available with 72 lasers set to measure everything needed to analyse which clubs are best suited to you and your swing.
A full length outdoor practice area also enables you to practice what you have learnt and an excellent practice putting green is situated next to the clubhouse, so that all areas of your game can be developed both on and off the course.
