Stay & Play – Golf Breaks FAQ’s

  • Primary Contact

    It is the Primary Contacts responsibility to collect all monies. All bookings will be billed as one invoice, individual bills will not be raised. Payments from individuals will not be accepted.

  • Deposits

    £100 per person deposit is due at the time of booking. Remaining balance is required at least 28 days before arrival. We do kindly request that all guests provide a refundable damage waiver for each rented unit at the time of booking.

  • What is a Damage Waiver?

    We do kindly request that all guests provide a refundable damage waiver for each rented unit at the time of booking. This is a standard procedure that ensures the protection of our property and allows us to maintain a standard of quality for future guests. The refundable damage waiver acts as a safety net, providing peace of mind for both the guests and ourselves. In the event that any accidental damage occurs during the stay, the waiver will cover the costs associated with repairing or replacing any aff ected items. The £80.00 damage waiver is applied at the time of booking or can be processed as a pre-authorised transaction on arrival at reception. If paid online it will be refunded up to 14 days following departure.

  • Occupancy for Stay & Play

    Minimum occupancy: 3 golfers per lodge/superior caravan & 2 per standard caravan. Sorry No Single Occupancy. Maximum occupancy: Lodges based on two twin rooms plus single room, all caravans single room basis in both Superior and Standard Caravans.

  • Exclusions

    Sorry, No Short breaks during school holidays (especially from 13th July to 1st September).

  • Tee Times during your stay

    We advise you to reserve all tee times at the time of booking upon receipt of deposit payment. We will email you our tee time availability, so you may choose when you would like to play. NB. Tee time availability at weekends is very limited. 18 Holes per day is inclusive in the tariff , extra holes are £35 per person, per day.

  • Cancellations

    Cancellations will be accepted up to 28 days prior to arrival date. Your deposit will become Non-Refundable if you cancel later than this. Should you cancel within 14 days of arrival, you will forfeit the total cost of your booking. Full T&C’s available on booking.

  • Arrival and Departure Times

    Check-in starts at 3:00 pm until 6pm for Key Collection. If you plan to arrive later than 6pm, please contact reception prior to the arrival day to make alternative arrangements for key collection. Check-out is at 10am on departure day. You are still very welcome to play on both these days, but check-in and check-out times must be adhered to, so our housekeeping staff can changeover the accommodation for the next guest arriving. NB. Tee time availability at weekends is very limited. All keys must be returned to Reception upon vacating the accommodation, prior to any tee time bookings.

    We ask that all accommodation keys be returned to reception by 10:00 am on the departure date, unless prior arrangements has been made with the accommodation manager.

    During the peak season, check-in may be slightly delayed due to the number of units that require changing over. Mid-week early check-ins may be available – please inquire at the time of booking.

  • What can we expect from our holiday Let?

    Upon arrival you will fi nd a clean, fully equipped property with all the usual home comforts. All our accommodation properties are self-catering. They are kitted out with a standard inventory, and this includes most things you’d need to cook a meal. You’ll need to bring all food and condiments with you. You will fi nd a welcome tray with tea bags, instant coff ee, sugar and UHT milk for your fi rst drink. To help you get started, we provide one toilet roll per toilet and hand soap, washing up liquid, sponge, and dish cloth. There is a guest book in the property with appliance instructions, useful information, directions and tips.

  • What if we need to change our stay dates or tee times?

    Where possible and if available we will let you change your booking to another date or unit, this is at our discretion. Please be aware however that there could be a diff erence in price.

    Regarding tee time reservations, we remain fl exible as long as we have the availability to amend tee time requirements.
